  1. I have a very old Kenwood chef 1965 my mum got a present. The gears are all working well , I thought this may be the problem that the beater or whisk attachments would not turn. I know the liquadiser gear part is working . When the lid is placed on the back the front should go into gear but this isn’t happening. The little silicon peg isn’t’ connecting with the point on the dog nut. I’m here looking at the picture on the computer and wondering if the plastic part and white part under the liquadiser connection can they come off as I think the one on my mixer are upside down. I would really be grateful if you can help, yours sincerly, Margaret Roche.


    1. Hi Margret, thanks for getting in touch. The best thing to do is email me through the site, I’ll reply and then you can send me a picture of the problem. Its common for the dog cog to snap, but this is situated inside the gearbox
